NPS International School has a state-of-the-art infrastructure for its football team. Apart from having a 200 sq/meter football ground, the school has also sophisticated indoor football practice facilities. Under the guidance of a Nigerian coach, the school has the distinction of representing the country in a Malaysia event in 2016. Due to its achievements both at the national and international level and existing high-class infrastructure, ISL franchise North East United Football Club (FC), owned by none other than Mr. John Abraham, inks a MoU with the school to conduct a Grassroots Training and Coaching Programme. As part of this programme, NE United FC coaching experts visit the school and train the budding talents of the NE, with state-of-the-art facilities. Apart from its regular practice ground, the school also offers roof-top training facilities for its players to practice during the off-season. The school has the distinction of securing championship position in various state-level competitions over the years.
